Colchester are sweating on the fitness of loan striker David Mooney (ankle) after he was carried off the pitch on a stretcher against Hereford.

Goalkeeper Ben Williams (ankle) is expected to miss out again with Mark Cousins to continue in his place.
Sheffield Wednesday are likely to recall striker Marcus Tudgay and midfielder Chris Sedgwick.
Irvine rested the pair, along with other first team regulars, for their 1-0 win over Bury on Tuesday.


Colchester United boss John Ward told BBC Essex:
"I know Alan Irvine very well. He's a realist and they're really spot on, hard working people.

"I'm told they've sold all their tickets for the game. Their supporters are very vociferous, that tends to goad our supporters into a response.
"The players shouldn't need any motivation from me for the game itself."
