Barcelona vs København Match Preview
Barcelona will play host to surprise Group D leaders FC Copenhagen. Barcelona opened their campaign with a thumping 5-1 win over Panathinaikos, before being held to a 1-1 tie by Rubin Kazan in Russia. Copenhagen opened with a solid 1-0 win over Rubin Kazan, and followed it up with a victory in Greece over Panathinaikos.
Barcelona will be without Gabriel Milito who has been ruled out with injury. Otherwise Barcelona will field their usual star studded lineup and will be going all out to take a win and go into top spot in Group D. Andres Iniesta and Carles Puyol scored in Spain’s 2-1 La Liga victory at the weekend.
Most fans would assume Copenhagen will look to dend well and be pleased with a draw at the Nou Camp, though that may not be the case. The Copenhagen attack has neen led by Senegale forward Dame N’Doye who has scored in both Group D victories so far. N’Doye told the UEFA website that if Copenhagen perform as they did in Greece they have “a great chance of winning.”
