Bayern München vs CFR 1907 Cluj Match Preview

 

Bayern Munich play CFR Cluj in Group E at the Football Arena. This will be the first meeting between the teams in the Champions League.

Bayern look stronger and have won their last five home games in the competition. Bayern also sit top of the group, having defeated Roma 2-0 and Basel 2-1.

Cluj bested Basel 2-1, and then lost to Roma by the same score. The Romanian side are in contention for second place in the group, and know a point could go a long way to helping them advance.

Bayern have numerous players out injured, including: Arjen Robben, Frank Ribbery, Miroslav Klose and Mark van Bommel. Bastian Schweinsteiger and Breno are back in for the side after recovering from recent injuries.
